Big news that we missed in the wake of @Jeremy Gaffney stepping down at Carbine (sorry!), that should please a lot of PvP players - the season is going to be soft-reset at the launch of the next big drop (The Defile). With all battleground, warplor and arena ratings set back to 1200 and with the associated changes in ELO calculation we should see lower levels of PvP gear being more competitive (not to mention the introduction of 1800 Rated Battleground Gear!)

  • Fixed multiple bugs that were causing client, and server crashes.
  • Added a large amount of missing DE and FR translations.
  • New players who do not configure a payment method for their WildStar account will receive a message directing them to go back to the website and complete the registration process.
Characters

  • While using a vehicle, the player should no longer have issues casting spells on a target.
  • The gamescom exclusive dye has been fixed.

  • Items will no longer have a chance of losing their stats and becoming a basic version of themselves; all formerly broken...

All hail to the Chief. Alas, announced today, @Jeremy Gaffney will be stepping down as President at Carbine Studios due to a need to focus on his family, who have recently suffered a series of tragedies that he outlines in his farewell message to the community. While he will remain in a consulting capacity, his participation in the company and the wider WildStar community will be less active/noticeable to the public.

For those of you who play WildStar and were not aware, while once you reach the hallowed Level 50 you have 41 ability points to allocate per build, but you could (very rarely) find or buy items that expand this to 48 total. The same for your AMP points (45 without unlocks, 55 with unlocks). Carbine have been saying for a while that they've wanted to ease the path into these additional power levels, and today they've outlined their plan!

Everyone's favourite Product Director, Mike "DapperDonatelli" Donatelli, has dragged himself up onto the official forums today to make a statement - word had been circulating from interviews at Gamescom 2014 that Carbine was abandoning it's 28 day drop schedule and today, we have had confirmation that for this drop at least things are going to take a little longer. We'll keep an eye out for you, on the timeframe changes.
