Then Carbine have once again seeded the internet with more one-time use (for this weekend only) beta keys than you can shake a stick at! Please note the following caveats though...

General
  • The level cap for pre-order characters has been raised to 25 (up from 20).
  • Character Select will now correctly display the new name of a character after a rename.
  • The Runecrafting station now properly opens when clicked.
  • In Runecrafting, the amount of diminished power for each rune slot is now displayed (runes slots are less powerful down the list).
  • Fixed a number of world crashes.
  • Optimized some network code to require less bandwidth for various elements of the game.
  • Resurrecting other players is now properly blocked in all group instances if any members of the group are in combat.

While we've had it from the horses mouth on Monday, and discussion has ensued, David "Scooter" Bass has posted additional details on the official forums. We have a new Beta Weekend, starting Friday at 7AM PDT (2PM UTC) through Sunday at 11:59PM PDT (Monday, 7AM UTC). And if that wasn't enough, not only has the level-cap for Pre-Order players been increased to L25 (granting access to the War of the Wilds Adventure) but there is exciting news for anyone who ever signed up for beta and never got invited...

  • In the Combat Log, fall damage should now properly differentiate between group members and the player.
  • When being disconnected for inactivity, players will be returned to the login screen.
  • Account-wide friends should once again show up properly.
  • Fixed an issue where instances were sometimes erroneously reporting themselves as full, preventing players from entering.
  • Fixed an issue where disconnecting immediately after changing zones cause strange behavior when a player next logged in.
  • Fixed a problem which prevented players from creating account-level friendships during their very first play session.

The MMORPG.com PAX East 2014 Award results have been announced - covering everything from Most Anticipated to Best Indie RPG. It will come as little surprise to you cupcakes, though, that WildStar walked away with the "Best in Show" Award.
