Aye, mmorpgs have these moments. You can't really explain these situations to anyone.
I also remember my first raid of Zul'aman where our main tank said i need to sheep the diamond. He got drunk and started marking critters all the time.. D:
..so i did what he told me and turned rabbits into sheep. In the middle of fights. And kept them in sheep form for the whole fight. Until someone killed them. :D
The quote from our other raid leader? ''Goddamn you take your role seriously'' :D
And yes, our guild got drunk a lot..
Every single raid was where someone was heavily intoxicated. It brought us more together tho and it was more of a fun time hobby rather than hardcore raiding. We did manage to down Illidan.. :D
@Torguish - lol that is awesome. I remember that our main tank was doing drills (he was in the army) so our raid leader was playing his character. We were in the process of taking down Ragnoras, and things were going okay. The tank came back and logged in, and did so without letting us know he was back. It .. was seamless and we took him down, but it cracks me up cause all of a sudden our raid leader was like, "Hey guys, DC, DC!!!" Followed by our main healer going "Um.. you're moving, is the account being hacked?!" Followed by "YAY BOSS DOWN!" and then the main tank joined vent and was like, "Sup." One of those had to be there moments, but I loved that stuff. :D
I bet you do. Crazy things happened to me too once back in the days of good ol' WoW. Like when our Tank god too drunk in the middle of our first drop of Gruul.. :D The dude put up a huge barrel of beer on top of his computer with somekind of an iron frame he did (He was an engineer) and attached a huge Beer keg to it. It took about 2 hours to get everyone together and soon enough, he was so smashed he started singing to us and later on he just stopped. Then we noticed that he fell asleep. He woke up soon enough with 6 buttons attached to his forehead. :D
