He might be trolling. It's not his first time.
Being new here, I never encountered Troy. But I have enormous respect for him since he put his family first. I hope that his family issues can be resolved and things work out for the best for him and his family.
Farewell Troy. You will always love you
Good luck and best wishes to you and your family!
A sad note indeed. Hope whatever happens for Troy later is nothing but good things. Best of luck to you, bro! D:
Troy, thanks for everything you've done. All our interactions in the WildStar community left me feeling that Carbine was so lucky to have a great community manager like you. I know the community will be in equally good hands with the rest of your team, but it won't be quite the same without you there.
All the best for the future for you and your family. Sorry you have to go through such a rough time at the moment. You will be missed! Thanks for everything you have done so far.
As my favorite saying goes: "Everything will be alright at the end, if it's not alright, it's not the end". Hang in there and I hope Carbine leaves the door wide open for you, just in case you want to sneak back in when your life settles.
Very sad news, this must have been such a hard decision but at the end of the day your doing what's right for your family and they always come first.
Good luck and god speed.
Hopefully yall didn't miss it, but Last night on Late Night Dominion we said our Farewells to Troy and our Hellos to the "New Guy" Christoph - he has a very large Troy shaped hole to fill in his position at Carbine. Was a very entertaining show with them on, and a very emotional one for Troy and all of us with LND - tears may have fallen...a lot, and #PumpkinHearts were passed around!
If yall want to watch it'll be up on youtube soon
Troy, thanks for everything you did for the community and may the Unicorns follow you wherever you go!
Even though I'm "too late" with this: It's so sad that he had to leave. This man really fulfills a destiny with what he's doing! The whole W*/Carbine spirit that hooked me up from the beginning is in large part a product of his way of interacting with the community and his, I'm gonna call it aura, that he is spreading.
I do really really hope that he finds his way back home to Carbine as soon as possible to become an active member of the Wildstar family again!
Life can be a cruel mistress when she forces you to stop doing something you love, at least you got some time with Carbine and can cherish the memories. All the best and hope everything works out as well as possible.
I'm a bit late to the discussion, but for those of you who want to put more of a face or voice to the name, Troy can be seen in this video. This is the WildStar Panel from PAX 2013.
Man that's tough Troy, take care and all the best for the future bud.
Just make Carbine sign something so we are guaranteed to get you back for Wildstar Expansion II - 'The Fringe Revealed'
Sad to hear you go man, my prayers go out to you and your family. Good luck.
Sad to see you go and I hope everything works out
