Are you a serious-minded progression raider who also enjoys organized PvP with a healthy dose of bath salts? Do you walk away from explosions in slow-motion? Are you a strong, independent black woman who don’t need no man?

If you answered yes to at least two of those three questions, then you may have just stumbled upon the recruitment page of the best guild you’ve ever considered thinking about maybe possibly joining.

Contrary to the tone of this recruitment post so far, our burly bunch of war-seasoned veterans and pantsless commandos are actually some of the most mature, skilled, and experienced raiders and MMO enthusiasts you will ever encounter. But you’re probably sitting there wondering to yourself as you skim through the plethora of guild recruitment posts on this website that all look the same: What does this guild have to offer you that others don’t? Why should any of this matter to you? Why should you even keep reading this post?

Allow me to explain, if you will. Let me go over some of the basics regarding the “who” and “what” we really are.

    WHO:

Win Everyday <WE> is a guild within the Win Everyday multi-gaming community. Haven’t heard of us? That’s okay, we’re fairly new. We officially formed up in the autumn of 2012, but amongst our ranks you will find veterans from all walks of MMO life. DAoC, Warhammer, EverQuest, Guild Wars 2, Mortal Online, EVE, Elder Scrolls Online, SWTOR, you name it; if there’s any kind of PvP or raiding scene, we’ve been there.

    WHAT:

Our primary focus within the guild is on progression raiding and occasional organized PvP within battlegrounds, warplots, and the open world. We also spend a great deal of our time assisting other guildies with their attunement process and run veteran dungeons as a group frequently. Consider us PvX, if you will.

Progression raiding not your cup of tea? That’s okay; while it will be the primary end-game focus of our guild, there is of course plenty of other content that we will be immersing ourselves in and there are also plenty of other members who have little interest in that style of gameplay. You are not required to be a die-hard raider to be a part of us, and regardless of your playstyle you will find a place within our ranks that suits your needs.

    SERVICES:

We have our own website which includes forums, a built-in wiki system, a community radio station, a place to host your videos and pictures, and Steam integration.

We handle voice comms via Mumble. Our voice server has its own set of rules which are more tightly enforced during active playtimes. Late night Mumble can get a little freaky sometimes, though. Just as we like it. If you don’t, however, then you and your friends are welcome to relocate into your own more-or-less private channels to be left to your own devices.

How’s it sounding so far? Still interested? Do I still have your attention? Good. Now I get to tell you about all the legal jargon; the rules we enforce and the behaviour we expect from members within our ranks.

    RULES, REQUIREMENTS, AND RUTABAGA:

    • Mumble is required in order to join this guild. You do not need a microphone, nor do you need to speak, but since 99% of all important information in raids and even PvP content is relayed via voice comms, we require that Mumble be installed and used for any organized guild activities.
    • Drama is not tolerated. If you have a problem with another member in the guild, bring it to that individual directly and try to solve it. If that fails or you are uncomfortable with confrontation, bring said problem to a high-ranking officer within the guild and settle things from there.
    • Cheating is not tolerated. UI Addons are obviously okay, but any other third-party assistance such as CheatEngine, MicroMacro, MMOViper, or home-made hacks and SQL injections are unacceptable within our guild and any trace of evidence we uncover to prove that you have been using these cheats will lead to a swift and justified ban from our community.
    • Serious racism, sexism, or any other form of discrimination and/or hate speech is not tolerated. If you feel victimized by somebody in this regard, you must bring it to guild leadership ASAP so it can be dealt with officially. We’re all human beings with real lives and real emotions so please respect that certain areas of peoples personal lives are off limits, especially if you do not know somebody well enough to be jeering them. This is a guild that is intended to be open and friendly to all walks of life. On that note, please keep in mind that our Mumble is filled with occasional crude humour and racial slurs do get thrown around from time to time. None of this is meant to be serious, and none of us have any intentions of offending anybody. If after spending time in our Mumble you feel uncomfortable with the language used, please bring it to the attention of one of our officers so we can find a way to make you feel more at home.
    • Have fun! We’re all here to have fun, play the game, hang out, laugh, troll each other mercilessly, and not take anyone seriously together. Just keep all of these things in mind when dealing with each other. It’s a game, and even though we have some basic rules set in place we’re not intending for you to feel like you need to walk on egg shells. So don’t do that. It’s just silly.

    RAIDING AND SCHEDULING INFO:

We've been trying to get our raids together since launch, and unfortunately we've faced many of the same struggles that other guilds have since the game began: High turnover after the game's first month of release, and people quitting the game entirely and severing all contact after hitting the raid attunement wall.

As a result of this, we've yet to field enough numbers to actually step foot into Genetic Archives, and scheduling times for raids aren't entirely set in stone yet. Once we are able to gather 20+ active raiders who have completed their attunement, we will decide on days of the week wherein we can gather the most people from our guild. Times are estimated to be between 8-11pm EST, and we will be raiding between 3-4 days a week depending on popular opinion.

We plan to form two separate 20-man raid groups which are likely to be on separate schedules to more easily accommodate those of us whose personal schedules don't sync up with the first 20-man group's raid times.

These two groups will eventually merge together to form our 40-man raid group.

As a part of the Win Everyday community, <WE> are not just here to fool around for a few months and then disappear into the nothingness. We have a long-term strategy for Wildstar, regardless of whether or not the game eventually becomes free-to-play and regardless of whether or not sudden changes to the game cause an even more substantial amount of the population to abandon ship. We like to stick to our guns through the good times and the bad. If a stable (albeit perhaps not mentally all-together) and dedicated group of folks to game with is what you’ve been looking for, then your search is now finally over.

Are you unsure about whether or not you will still be playing Wildstar later on down the road? That’s okay; sometimes people just lose interest in a game. Maybe Wildstar turns out to be different from what you expected it to be. Maybe real life gets in the way for a little while and when you come back to the game, it just isn’t the same anymore. Whatever the reason, it doesn’t have to mean the end of all the good times you’ve had with the people you’ve met in our community.

Win Everyday will be starting gaming chapters within many upcoming releases in the MMO market. EverQuest Next, ArcheAge, H1Z1, and Star Citizen are currently in our sights for future establishment. Maybe you don’t have any interest in those games? Maybe you don’t even want to get into the next generation of MMOs and would rather play something old-school like Ultima Online or EverQuest? If leadership is your forte, then the infrastructure we offer provides you with a platform to start your guild or clan with ease. If you don’t want to be bothered by the burden of command then our community is a great place to find like-minded people to game and have a good time with.

We're getting a handful of guildies raid-ready now and close to finishing attunement. It's certainly taking a lot longer than we had ever thought to get our whole raid force attuned, but we're still chipping away and hope to be stepping into our first 20-man within the next week or two.

There are still some spots avaliable for raid signups, so when you join be sure to let us know if you're interested in raiding!

Win Everyday has undergone a number of changes over the past week as a result of the sudden population drops in-game; most importantly, the guildmaster title has been given to Squig, a.k.a. TheJawa. He has brought a much-needed sense of direction and motivation into the guild as a whole, and we're doing everything we can to retain our members and step foot into raids.

We're still around, and we're still chipping away at the attunement wall to get people into the end-game experience we've all waited for since release.

There are a good number of transfers from other servers coming to Pergo, and we're more than happy to bring all of you guys in and help out with attunement. We want to raid just as badly as you do, and we'll continue using every resource available to us to keep ourselves afloat and moving forward in Wildstar.
