I'm looking forward to TESO. Will see how it is soon enough.
I might have to seriously divide my time between WildStar and Elder Scrolls Online when they come out.
And pay 2 subs simultaneously at that. XD
Back in the day I think I had 6-7 subs running at once. I had 3 SWG subs, 1 UO, an EQ, and one more I can't remember.
As skeptical as I am about TESO so far, must say they've done an awesome job on that. Hopefully they have given the same attention to the in game character animations as previous videos worried me a bit
Really hope this game picks up and lives up to at least some expectations - nothing better for players then good ol' industry competition
Id like to try before id commit to TESO, I didn't like SKYRIM until I heavily modded it
Don't think any PC player did
How much did that cost you at the time? Sounds expensive.
I've met several people who pay for 2 accounts for the same game or 2 for different games, but never anything close to 6+.
$15 an account so $90 a month.
LOL what did/do you do for a living?
I'm in the Construction business
That's nothing. I ran 6 subs at once for EQ for at least 6 years. I got sick of waiting on slow people and noobs for groups so I made my own group, LOL.
ROFL hey whatever works.
That video is impressive. But I do not have very high hopes for Teso. Based mainly on their endgame design it appears to me to be a game made for the masses not for long term play. Looking at the video and seeing all the work they did on char customization seems to reinforce that theory. Developer time and money are both limited resources and when one spends a good amount on superficial attributes like char customization there is less resources for actual gameplay.
That being said I hope TESO proves me wrong and turns out to be a game worth playing. We need more good MMOs regardless of whether I like the design or not.
TESO is more of a role-player's game than a go out and level as fast as possible to raid type of game. I feel it will be more social than any other MMORPG on the market. After playing in the beta(which I cannot talk about) I feel that it will be a very good game once it has that final coat of polish on it.
Yeah, I saw that video and I want that chick to have my babies.
I am still being cautious about TESO for two reasons 1: the Combat animations (I know its beta but they look slightly off, from maces appearing to not make contact and dealing damage to drawing a bow 2 inches and shooting an arrow at full force.) 2: The limitations that might be imposed do to the console ports.
Still not interested in this game. There are way too many high fantasy games out there as it is.
