I like being support class like tank/healer or hybrid class like druids in WoW.

Really great class, I can wear chain armor that is close to mail (I still prefer Plate), I can be melee DPS, I can be all sort of Ranged DPS, I can be Tank, I can be Healer

    Love classes like that

Funny those 2 were my Favorite classes in FFXI even though Dragoon was "weak" people said compared to other classes when I played.

My main has almost always been a healer or support class of some sort, but I have a soft spot in my tiny heart for pet classes, provided they're done right (e.g., the AI isn't a mess, and the pet feels like more than just a mobile DoT that you set and forget).

I feel like the class that I most thoroughly enjoyed was the Disciple of Khain in Warhammer Onine. Healing through your melee dps and what not.

    WoW - Fire Mage

I love that unstoppable, damage at any cost feeling. Complete uncontrollable fury unleashed on your enemies.

I recently noticed that I'm kind of a Jack of all trades.

I played WoW. Alot. And I played a Warrior (tank), Mage (Fire and arcane, both awesome), Ele and heal shaman for a long time, heal druid for a long time, Deathknight for some time, and warlock until I quit.

Pretty much every class except paladin, priest and hunter.

I really enjoyed Marauder from Warhammer Online. The class itself was stupid under powered compared to many others, but there was something super satisfying about morphing your body into a literal weapon to beat the ever loving <REDACTED> out of players and NPCs.

Or gently plucking people out and lovingly dragging them to your awaiting zerg... I get sad every time I think of WAR, because of "what could have been." :(

Seriously though, Marauder was a ton of fun. I wish there could have been a Nurgle-oriented class though. :)

Also, as has been stated, The Warrior Priest / Disciple of Khaine = tons of fun, but I'm almost hoping for an Engineer-type class in WildStar too...

My favorite class has to be a Shaman from WoW, however, I only played him until Cata, so I don't know how they work anymore. I didn't do the most damage; but I was capable of giving nice buffs to boost others around me, do decent damage, and really help the healer out. My friends wanted me to run Halls of reflection, and the other dungeons so badly because without me they tended to have a very difficult time surviving. It made me feel like I was extremely important without having to deal with the BS that healers and tanks have to deal with. I'm really hoping the staff class is sort of like a Shaman with a twist. :D

Healing it's all for me. My main - always healer. If there more than one class with healer spec be sure i would play it too. Most memorable for me is Commando/Scoundrel from SWTOR, maybe because it second game in si-fi setting that i played and it was new type of healers for me.
I like from time to time play solo with stealth melee class (they all the same in all games so i can not pick out someone).
And when i play some game for long time i tend to create tank alt for dungeon runs (they too tend to be same in different games but i like Monk from EQ2).
I dislike mages/ranged dps with passion and create one only if it has healer/full control spec (like chloromancer from Rift or Illusionist/Coercer from EQ2)

Ahh, I nearly forgot about that. The ultimate troll, snatching people up and leading them to their doom..

.. Can we just screw lore and put in the Warhammer Marauder? :p

hahah, actually when the M30 patch notes rolled out, there was one Stalker move that seemed vaguely reminiscent of that, but I have no idea of this "pull" is actually something functionally similar to the Marauder's move:

    • Collapse
      • Reduced the pull min range to 5 meters and the max range to 10 meters.
      • Fixed a bug that was preventing the Pull from working at max range.
      • Now costs 30 Suit Power.

    Top 3:
    Commando from SWTOR
    Disciple of Khaine from Warhammer
    Holy Paladin from WoW

Regardless of how good SWTOR is (or isn't), the commando is my favorite ranged dps class of all time. Heavy armor, cool abilities, and just really fun to play overall.

Disciple of Khaine was the only class I've seen do the "heal by killing things" right imo. Most of the times I feel like when games impliment that its awkward and convoluted.

Holy Paladin is just my favorite healing class over all, especially post cata. The holy power system stepped it up and keeps the healing aspect fun and engaging. Combine that with heavy armor and utility, gg!

Tanks. Evade Tanks. Mitigation Tanks. Parry Tanks. It doesn't matter how you're tanking, if you can keep aggro and not die then you're a class that I like. If you try to do either one of those and fail horribly, then I hate you and I question why you're even in the game. Bonus points if you can also DPS on certain fights without hitting like a raindrop.
