    Hey everyone !

here is a question for you all, do you fear the horde syndrome in Wildstar ? What I'm saying is the syndrome we saw in WoW where there seem to be more love given to the horde than the alliance.

Are you afraid that Dominion get better quest/lore, racial etc than the Exiles or vice versa ?

I don't think so. Of course when I played WoW wasn't it the Alliance that were the Favorites?

I don't think Carbine will do it, I am wary of it being an issue concerning population. Personally I think they have done a good with creating desirable races for both sides, at least for me. It's the first time in a faction game where I am still unsure what side to choose. I have leaned towards Dominion and now Exiles.

WoW there was no doubt that I was Alliance. Dwarfs greater than all!
Rift I was definately Guardian. Dwarfs greater than all.
Warhammer I was Order. Dwarfs greater than all.
EQ2 I was Qeynos. Dwarfs greater than all.

I think I'm seeing a trend. So unless one of the remaining races are space Dwarfs I am undecided. But, for now I am think Exiles could be like early Horde and the underdog.

Oh, and Dwarfs greater than all!

That's because the Horde is the best.

    Just like the Dominion!

I tend to play which ever side isnt themed red. I cant stand the colour. Oddly enough, blood doesnt phase me. But just red everywhere is soo blah.

Utterly completely uninterested in lore. My only concern would be where the raid minded guys favour and if horde bias reared its head in that regard

I doubt they will do that, It's the Fans/players choice to favorite. I'm sure both sides will have equally awesome Quests/gear and so on.

I do not see this as being an issue. With classes being balanced between the fractions one side will not be OP.
As for the lore, both sides look to be equal.

It is not going to be like Warhammer Online were one side got all the ability to dual weapons and the other side got owned.

I don't think thats even a syndrome. The Alliance had the horde beat for a long time because of the Warcraft RTS games with Arthus and Naxx ect., the Horde just have recently had more so they could catch up lol.

As long as the Dominion get AT-STs, I'm fine with whatever.

Gods I hope Dominion isn't the Horde. The obsession most hordies have with their faction reminds me of the whole "USA USA USA YOU DON'T LIKE 'MURICA THEN YOU CAN GEEEEEEEET OUT!!!!" crowd.

So I think Carbine was pretty smart in their making the "good guys" the underdogs and the "bad guys" the favored. Being "bad" is equally unique and cool as being the underdog. So, they should end up balanced.

You obviously never quested in Alliance and Horde after Cataclysm, eh?

Quests on Alliance side were boring as hell, Horde hat amazing quests which were fun and full of awesome Lore (Oh and Garrosh called Sylvanas to 'shut your mouth, bit**'. Pimpin' ain't easy but somebody's gotta do it)

I kinda prefer Dominion over Exiles for a few reasons and tbh...I love the thought of liking my faction too much. It adds to the immersion of a game :)

Obviously outside of the game this shouldn't be a serious thing, people need to stop taking things too serious, that's where I agree with you.

I will say that so far none of the exile races really appeal to me other than maybe the humans. I'm holding out hope I will like the 4th exile race. That doesn't seem to be the case for most people though, it should level out pretty well.

Not like your puny gnome warrior has got anything on my Tauren Deathknight!

Yeah. I love my Horde characters. And yes I know the belt is horribly discolored, but I forgot to mogg after I more or less quit the char and in the end the game.

I felt part of what I were and that was cool, but as I said - this shouldn't affect my relationship to people of opposing factions or the same. (omg horde too? You must be cool! <- Nope.)
