    Pants.

    And I second the #W*FluffChips Movement!

    Also, Shield Generators have already been confirmed as an Item Slot, so you can find and replace your Shield Generator.

    Just started listening - and Gray! You were in Iowa and Illinois!? :eek: That's where I live! Or rather, I lived in Illinois all my life up until last year, and now I'm on the Iowa side. (I'm right along the border.) You didn't by chance pass through the Quad Cities, did you??

    Weird, I played Game of Thrones this week as well! I played Greyjoy and attacked Lannister and allied with Stark... so everything that is opposite to the books. The thing that I found was the the Raven was probably the most powerful "ability" in the game.

    Anyway there was a great deal of information this week and that was a nice well put together show.

    In regards to the question about choosing a class to play because it is what the guild needs; yes I have done it on many occasions, not just in MMOs, but also in tabletop RPGs as well. For me I much more driven by group success rather than individual success.

    SPOILER: Gray was wearing a skirt—THE WHOLE TIME. Don't judge, he just wanted to feel pretty.

    The Arena piece really interests me, but the concept of betting excites and troubles me.
    I remember when 'collusion' really ruined Arathi Basin where groups where on teamspeak together but able to queue up during off hours and just take dives to hand off large amounts of honor. The same worries me if ppl on the outside are betting, when taking a dive could still be done without much consequences.

    I have to agree with Gray that as much as the next 2 races being revealed will give us some insight on the timing of beta info on Crafting could also be an big indicator. With beta you get untrained key smashing monkeys challenging every aspect of your in game mechanics. That is something that all crafting mechanics really need (imo) before they are released for prime time.

    God this entire episode I was in an entirely too hot conference room, wrapped around my laptop trying to make myself sound semi-audible. This was the most uncomfortable 2 hour sitting arrangement of my LIFE.

    Something that Kurik pointed out to me -- Carbine doesn't necessarily need to announce the next two unrevealed races before beta (seeing as those invited to beta are under strict NDA anyway and can't discuss them). So, the majority of us may not find out what the 4th Dominion and Exile races are until after closed beta starts.

    good point, even if they are playable as Mike D mentioned does not really mean they have to be revealed prior to beta launch with the NDA in place.

    The tricky thing with that, though, is that the races are a REALLY juicy bit of news, and even with an air-tight NDA, I think leaks would get out about them. In my opinion, Carbine would be safer off previewing them prior to Beta release to make sure that as much info about the races comes from them first to give the impression they want, as opposed to what folks gather from Beta tester leaks. It's a matter of controlling the content release, which they've been doing pretty well about thus far! ;)

    Well.. Obviously Carbine can do as they want! But Beta is Beta, and people will leak so I agree with Evion Sentiments;

    I'm going to stick with my original thought of we'll see information about the 2 unrevealed Races before Beta begins. Although- I still would welcome the Beta starting before than.
