Phew...had to overcome audio adversity on that one but thankfully everything ended up well. HUGE thanks to the always pleasant Carbinians that joined us in the recording of episode 20. We were all quite nervous for some reason but as soon as we started talking it was comfortable and felt like a living room chat! Well, aside from the whole Pseudo being in his vehicle creeping in a hotel parking lot thing.

I prefer to call them CRBers... Pronounced Curbers or, if you prefer, Care bears spoken in Ermahgerd!

Hey great podcast, good job guys :)

Glad to see the developers so active in the community...

That redacted class sounds fun, although perhaps it needs a new name

Sorry about that. We will go over that this week along with this weeks WSW. I guess having the devs on this week, we kinda looked over it.

    great episode :D

Really enjoyed the conversation with the Carbine Devs. I like how they talk to you and the listeners gamer to gamer not propaganda speak to potential client

"The same guys making in-game cinematic make the trailers" :inlove:

Hugh hit on becoming the stalwart hero as a kid. Albeit cheesy I completely agree with that being the hook that got me into the MMO obsession.

He also mentioned he initially couldn't believe how many people were running around. Another phenomena I bet we can all relate to about our first MMO experiences. Hugh's a badass.

Great episode. Hope you guys can keep a head of steam going till release.

Just a quick question. Right now as most of WS is still speculation or under NDA you guys obviously cover the news coming out or discuss what you'd like to see. Once the game is released is there any plans to go more specific ie the raid scene or to keep it fairly general with perhaps themes, guests etc?

I was thinking about this and thought it would be good to over what we did in-game, ie raids, PvP, etc. I know Pseudo and I will raid, he more than me. It's also good to have all of us least talk on all points of the game. So, like going over patch notes and stuff would be ideal especially if it attains to raids and PvP.

Hey, thanks for the question! I think it's pretty safe to assume you can expect us to stay pretty general with the podcast... but that's really because all three of us have pretty different preferences in terms of how we play. So simply by seeing the games through our various lenses, you will still get a pretty in-depth episode, but one that covers the gamut in topics.

For example, my interest in PvP isn't quite as strong as Azzurri's is, but I know for a fact that I am the most ravenous raider among the trifecta. You can expect me to be talking about PvE content -- raiding and lore -- pretty much every week in some shape or fashion.

In terms of guests... we've always just brought on friends to the show and we'll probably just continue to do that. We usually try to schedule guests a few weeks out so we can tailor the show a little more to their interests, but it's not always in the cards. With that being said, our friends do, in fact, run the gamut of interests, so I don't think we're going to go super niche once the game launches!

Thanks for the question, and I hope that clears things up!

    I loved the episode!

And I also love you guys for trying your darnest to get some answers about <Redacted> out of the devs! :D That was actually my favourite part of the podcast I think; just hearing the sheer amount of "<REDACTED>" being thrown around :p.

Bwahaha, that was a fantastic episode! You did a great job engaging with the devs, and glad you did include the Pants Or No Pants segment, it's a staple! ;D

It was also fun to hear the thoughts on preferred races/classes/playstyles, and upcoming things in the beta!
