Pure quality. Make movies Blizzard. Movies!
Kung Fu panda to the rescue. haha
They are trying to make a WoW movie and even though I am not a fan I want to see it.
Yeah, besides if you are a fan or not of the game, you can't get around of the fact that this is one of the most detailed and awesome (game) cinematics you ever seen.
Yikes, that almost makes me excited for the panda-expac. Thanks for posting it!
If only I could overlook:
Homogenized classes (now with 6 skill choices total!)
Arena balancing impacting pve
Community overrun with trolls
Graphics that looked old in vanilla
That said, I'll still play it. I'm not proud. I'm just waiting for Wildstar.
I like the new pandarian race, too bad race change is only allowed within the same faction, it does not look like pandarians qualify.
Are Pandarens not apart of either faction?
Yes. I read or heard somewhere race change from Pandaran is only possible after they made their choice to go Alliance or Horde.
I saw a snapshot of char creation, where pandarian as a choice was smack down the middle of them at the buttom with grey neutral background. But I do not know for sure, maybe like DKs they get to choose at some point, or maybe this is one step forward in lore towards removing the absurdity of pvp factions being a deciding factor -- like Rift is doing it.
Bummer, so they have to choose a faction :-(
Yes, Pandarans have to choose at level 10 what faction they are going to join. DK's have to choose at start when picking a race.
I am a sad panda now.
No I believe Blizz can make some great cinematics after playing D3.
I cannot get enough of that cinematic. Hands down the best one they have done in my opinion. Plus watching the human and orc stare dumbfounded made me laugh out loud the first time. This cinematic almost makes me want to play the xpac. I just wish it wasn't 40 bucks. I might give it a shot. Hrm, GW2 will probably take me up to Black Friday. I wonder if MoP will be on sale then.....
I may have no urge to buy MoP or ever go back to WoW but I freely admit that they have some great trailers. I still recall the one for it when it first came out. Man it was a great game.
Yeah, I liked the game when it first released and even through TBC, but to me things started going downhill after that. Classes started getting less distinct, open world PvP starting to go away because of battlegrounds, among other things. Ah well, here's to looking forward to WildStar.
That is the point, where I get the feeling that the pandarian monk reach his goal of teaching them something, putting them a step closer to spiritual guidance - like cooperation instead of stupidly fighting each other, when they are both lost and should work together for survival on a foreign shore.
Going to refer the Enemy Mine again for this
Despite my lack of enthusiasm for anymore wow expansion game, I have to admit, It's a beautiful trailer and shows blizzard still got it. I think with square enix they are the two that know how to do cinematics lol. (Now a movie I wanna see more than Wow movie is Metal gear Ohhh Yeaaah.)
Oh so many things I could argue here, but Im being good.
1) Ive never played WoW, Ive played pretty much everything else at one point, Beta of a few too but I think Im too afraid to get hooked on that one. That said the cinematic was superb thx Black Wolf.
2) Open world PVP ack you know I know some people like it but getting them to realise they are a minority in this type of game is really tricky. Especially as the personality make up of a lot of PVP players is typically (not always) in your face and argumentative ......did I say that LOL I mean leadership style honest So long as PVP is optional its a win win for all player types. Force people into a confrontation situation and its goodbye to your population. Anyways not the thread for that so I will shut up.
3) WHAT !!! the new guy (WildZhen) has a cool sig line already ..........exits to the graphics program ........brb
Oh referencing the interview on MMO.EU http://www.mmo-game.eu/wildstar-q-and-a-session-with-jeremy-gaffney/
It does look like open world PVP as well as PVE servers, at least from lvl 20 up.
