I think people might be worried about names becoming like FPS names "xxxShootyMcAwesome007xxx"
OK, bedtime for me! Joe et al, answer away at thy whim, but try to leave something for future reveals, like races/classes/path stuff/mounts/tradeskills/unannounced features/post launch plans/zones/raid secrets/warplots/environmental effects/challenges/housing content/character advancement/etc.
Especially don't talk about <REDACTED>.
Some say it is immersion breaking for a RP server, if that is going to be an option for servers. Like someone is Bob, but you want to be Bob, so you name yourself Bob123, allowing everyone to be a numbered version of Bob. More of a gamertag versus (RP) name thing.
Personally I feel allowing numbers in names can ruin immersion, now if there was a way to limit it to only mechari, that would be pretty cool.

Last question, same topic; How often are we going to find ourselves repairing stuffs?
i mean, am i going to go back to repair my stuff twice per "tier" before i get something better? or i wont see the repair UI that often at early levels?

It's only 7 "class" abilities in the current build, not 7 total abilities. Some abilities come from things other than your class. Paths, etc.
The philosophy is to have the maximum number of abilities available that a highly skilled player can comfortably use without custom (macro keyboard etc) hardware.
And of course we respond to player feedback.
Actually! The reminds me. Is there a way to change in-game font? Especially for those times when people try and troll with 1 / I / l ... or do you guys have a font set up that has that kind of thing covered? I'd think it would be cool to have numbers in Mechari names (T2000 whaaaaat) but I also expect to see barcodes involving said alphas and numerials - especially if its hard to read.

The only significant argument against numbers in names has to do with immersion and roleplaying, but really there are plenty of ways to break immersion with names w/o numbers. "KittenStomper" the Granok warrior is not a whole lot less jarring than "KittenStomper12" the Granok Warrior. Plus as Mr. Gaffney said numbers could prove useful for Mechari players looking to spice up their names.
Argument against: they tend to encourage terrible names in nearly all communities that allow them that I can think of. I feel like when people are constrained to letters they feel more obligated to make something that reads at least sorta like a name.
Personally hoping they don't stick around, though I'll concede the point on mechari.

Also what are your intentions about achievements?
Do you want to have a lot of achievements so players can choose what they like and try to complete or you want to have plain and simple achievements?Basically are achievements going to be a big part of the game?
Also do we have Feat of Strength achievements?
