    Folks, we've been a little silent here at WSC what with the game we've been waiting for to launch, but here's a quick roundup of all the patch notes from the first week of headstart/launch!

    Build #6708 - 28 May 2014
    General
    • The Drusera story instances are now unlocked for all players. Journey through the heart of Nexus and unlock its darkest secrets.
    • Added a /random command that will generate a random number on the server and display it to everyone in your party.
    • Added Story Movie at the beginning of the game.
    • Updated the EULA and Privacy Policies.
    • Implemented the final game credits for launch!
    • Continent artwork has been updated and is now complete.
    • Fixed a crash related to AMPs that modify spell parameters such as resource cost.
    • Fixed a bug with instance throttling where instances were taking longer to expire than intended.
    • Adjusted loading screen tips related to the Social Menu and the Group Finder to properly reflect their default keybinds.
      • Social is now O (from H).
      • Group Finder is now N (from O).
    • Reduced falling and sliding damage while tethered.
    • It is no longer possible for spells to get stuck attempting to recast themselves when using the mouse to click with Hold to Continue Casting enabled.
    • Players should no longer appear as moving corpses to other players in the rare cases that they were.
    • Player to Player Trading
    • It is no longer possible to delete an item while it is in an active trade with another player, causing a trade to fail.
    Guilds
    • Renown and prestige gains will now be properly processed within achievements including guild achievements.
    Characters
    Items

    • Alongside world drops, the Spellslinger AMP 'Critical Surge' will now only be available for purchase from Fenan Sunstrider (Exile) and Zephix (Dominion) in Whitevale.
    • Imbuement - Inner Strength - Fixed an issue where this was sometimes stacking. Additionally reduced the CC Resilience for all tiers to 2%, 4%, 6%, 8%, and 10% respectively.
    • Item imbuements with checklist like objectives will now properly complete while the item is equipped nor will they auto complete by taking the item off and putting it back on.

    Spellslinger
    General

    • While in the void, you now receive an error message saying you can't change sets.
    PvP
    General

    • Fixed a bug where players who die near each other and respawn in the same PvP wave might not see each other.
    • Fixed an issue where the mask in Walatiki Temple could disappear if the player carrying it died from falling damage.
    Warplots
    • Updated sound effects for Warplot Dispenser buff towers.
    • Players can no longer jump on top of Warplots generators.
    • Improved Warplot match making to reduce the likelihood that solo queuing will prevent large groups from matching.
    • Fixed a bug which would prevent Warparties from properly matching, disbanding, or being able to port to the build map after queuing the first time.
    Content
    Algoroc

    • Kraggar has had his failure time removed so that he will remain up until defeated, or 1 week has passed at which time he will reset. Dominion players will now be able to participate in the event for killing this world boss.
    • Auroria
    • Interacting with 'Honeyworks Ultrasonication Lead' now displays as "Talk To" instead of "Activate".
    Ellevar
    • The Pell Water Devil Ritual in Ellevar has been updated with new sound effects.
    • Settler Project in Lightreach will now allow easier construction.
    • Fixed the Tales From Beyond the Fringe image for Ellevar Tract 1.
    Exile Arkship
    • Fixed a rare issue preventing players from interacting with Sadie Brightland on the Exile Arkship.
    • Updated sound effects on the Exile Arkship to better reflect correct event timing.
    Grimvault
    • The Caretaker overseeing the Bio Mech Facility has even more to say during "Big Game Hunters".
    • Eldan Transistors
    • Fixed issue with the player being able to 'demo' the targets of the mission.
    Wilderrun
    • Updated location of DATACUBE: Difficult Choice so that it is not clipping inside terrain
    Adventures
    Riot in the Void

    • Increased the difficulty of several creatures in Riot in the Void back to their intended level of difficulty.
    • Rioting Prisoners in 'Riot in the Void' now search for players in the appropriate rooms.
    The Hycrest Insurrection
    • Increased the difficulty of many creatures in the Hycrest Insurrection back to their intended level of difficulty.
    War of the Wilds
    • Increased the difficulty of many creatures in War of the Wilds back to their intended level of difficulty.
    Siege of Tempest Refuge
    • Increased the difficulty of many creatures in The Siege of Tempest Refuge back to their intended level of difficulty.
    Crimelords of Whitevale
    • Increased the difficulty of many creatures in Crimelords of Whitevale back to their intended level of difficulty.
    • Updated Barugh's Armored Hide Coat to the correct icon.
    The Malgrave Trail
    • Increased the difficulty of creatures in The Malgrave Trail back to their intended level of difficulty.
    • Gold Medals will now reward properly in The Malgrave Trail (Veteran).
    • Shiphands
    • Players should again be able to enter shiphands when they are below recommended level.
    Dungeons
    General

    • Fixed a bug causing incorrect minimum level restrictions to be applied to dungeons.
    • Fixed an issue that was causing items dropped from trash in Dungeons and Raids to be awarded directly to a player instead of being available to the group to roll on.
    Kel Voreth
    • Grond the Corpsemaker
      • HP increased to ~275k (Normal).
      • Bellow/Scratch Itch should occur more consistently.
      • Mutilate timing revised - players now have more time between getting knocked back and being mauled.
    • Slavemaster Drokk
      • HP increased to ~150k (Normal).
      • Reduced HP for Destructo bots and tethers.
      • Destructo bots now explode more reliably.
      • Destructo bots now use "Reorient" when a new Tracking Beacon is selected.
      • When a played marked as Tracking Beacon dies or leaves combat it will no longer sometimes cause the phase to end early.
      • Destructo Bots should correctly chase players (we know, we may have claimed this once or twice or a half dozen times before).
    • Forgemaster Trogun
      • HP increased to ~185k (Normal).
    Raids
    Attunement

    • The quest direction arrows for the step to Speak to Executive Assistant Kunio for the quest Attunement: The Genesis Key will now only display when in Illium.
    • The Adventure step of the Genesis Key will now correctly give credit.
    • The Reputation Check for Beloved of the Dominion and Beloved of the Exiles will now advance if you max your faction while inside an Adventure.
    • Players will now see Drusera if they log out and log in during the raid attunement quest: "ATTUNEMENT: The Genesis Key".
    • Players will now only receive a quest arrow for the step to Speak with Research Assistant Bertha for the quest Beloved of the Exiles if in Thayd.
    Genetic Archives
    • Fixed some terrain in Genetic Archives which previously interfered with miniboss encounters.
    • Hideously Malformed Mutant
    • Squidora no longer chase players (they refused to do so, anyway) and instead wander randomly in a relatively large radius once spawned.
    Paths
    Scientist

    • Mining bot now self-destructs after being scanned.
    Economy
    Tradeskills

    • Outfitter
      • Updated text for Apprentice level Support System Manufacturing tech tree achievements to more accurately reflect intended requirements.
    User Interface
    • Updated the layout of the Credd Exchange and fixed an extra buy label that was appearing.
    • The Group Finder UI now opens to the correct tab if you open it in the middle of a dungeon/adventure/arena/etc.
    • The Account Inventory tutorial should now be more accurate in explaining the functionality.
    • Changed minimum value of lod.renderTargetScale back to 0.25
    • Added RewardIcons as a dependency in Nameplates so icons load after a reloadui
    • Added sounds to the Arena Team UI.
    • Added sounds to the Challenges UI.
    • Added sounds to the Settler Build Map UI.
    • In Account Services, unfriending someone while in the middle of gifting to a friend will now close the UI and require you to try again.
    • Fixing "Not Enough Money" bugs and warnings in the Auction House.
    • If your Account has lapsed, and you have C.R.E.D.D. remaining in your Escrow, the UI will now automatically bind and claim it for you, if you click the claim confirmations.
    Housing
    • There are no longer certain areas on the inside of the Spacious Granok, Spacious Chua, and Spacious Aurin houses where decor couldn't be placed.
    • Fixed an issue where, occasionally, decor couldn't be previewed the sides rooms of the Spacious Granok and Spacious Chua houses.
    • Fixed a bug where players could not access the landscape menu from certain places inside spacious houses.
    • Fixed an issue where the action bar on the Tiki Lounge housing plug that allows players to select a bartender was missing an icon.
    • Players can no longer edit decor or housing remodel options while the house is building.

    General

    • Added road markings to both Arkship tutorial minimaps.
    • Reduced instability that could be caused by objects in the world that had wind effects.
    • Added localized intro cinematics for French and German regions.
    • The quest tracker should no longer resize itself behind an open datachron if a challenge is triggered.
    • Fixed an issue where Class abilities would sometimes be interrupted when they shouldn't.
    • The Bloodfire Arena public event has been disabled. This event will be reactivated in a future patch.

    Medic

    Abilities

    • Devastator Probes
    • Fixed an issue where Medic's could sometimes detonate other Medic's Devastator Probes depending on order of application.
    • Mending Probes
    • Mending probes will now stack 1 per caster rather than 1 per target.

    Deradune

    • The Fights of Passage public event will progress normally if the warpig is killed by a player outside the event area.

    Dungeons

    • Players will no longer be stuck in combat after dying within a dungeon or raid.

    Tradeskills

    • 39 Tradeskill Achievements have been swapped so that players can see relevant schematics.

    User Interface

    • Fixed nameplate targeted options refreshing when changed or the target changes.
    • Fix for nameplates caching incorrect disposition information to the player.
    • The Full Screen mode is now the only mode that will display the resolution.
    • The revert settings button will now restore the resolution to the last resolution as well as the time out.
    • Nameplates sometimes display incorrect or no data as a creatures affiliation.
    • A new tutorial for "C.R.E.D.D." has been added when the C.R.E.D.D. Exchange is opened for the first time.

    • Fixed a bug where an initial failure of the 2-Step Verification code prevented successful entry on subsequent login without client restart.
    • Fixed a bug which prevented Warplot match making from functioning.
    • Improved Warplot match making to reduce the likelihood that solo queuing will prevent large groups from matching.
    • There are now level-appropriate requirements in order to see the Secret Stash loot chests scattered throughout Nexus.
    • The Secret Stash in Farside can now be looted by Dominion players.
    • Fixed a client crash issue caused by a small number of quests.

    • Fixed an occasional crash resulting from right clicking to report spam.
    • Fixed a bug where players who had purchased the game were being placed into the "guest" realm queue.
    • Fixed an exploit that was allowing some users to bypass the server queue.
    • Fixed issue causing character create screen to be blank after the queue popped.
    • The Bag of Awesomeness can now be rebound via the Account Services UI if the player character no longer has the bag in inventory.
    • Fixed a server crash related to pathing.
    • Added more cheat detection.

    • Novice Harvesting Tools now have a purchase price of 5 copper and cannot be sold once acquired.
    • You can no longer stack the "Psionic Blast" buff from Settler depots.
    • The PC Gamer Monkey Decor object can no longer be salvaged.
    • Added additional validation to inactivity detection in order to disconnect players which are AFK for too long.

    • Factional restrictions have been removed from the realm PvP rule-set. In essence, you may now create both Exile and Dominion characters on the same PvP-flagged realm!
    • Fixed a bug that would occasionally cause an “infinite loading screen” on particularly busy realms.
    • Fixed a bug that would sometimes prevent a Boom Box from being claimed.
    • Anachrondax will no longer grant experience points when slain.
    • The Meteor Crater FABkit has had its level reduced to 8.
    • Fixed a bug with the “guest” realm queue.
    • Fixed a bug with the realm queue, which under rare conditions, could cause it to stop functioning.
    • Added video.framerateMax console variable which can be used to adjust the maximum allowed framerate.
    • Switched to using raw mouse data for relative mouse movement. This will allow users with high-precision mice to look and turn much more accurately.
    • Fixed a performance problem which would have affected users using Windows 7 running in non-Fullscreen Exclusive mode.
    • Fixed a remaining UI bug where players who had purchased the game were being shown as a "guest" in realm queue.
    • Improved overall game performance and graphics optimization.

    Build 6714 - 04 June 2014
    • Fixed a number of server crashes.
    • Fixed an issue where account items occasionally could not be claimed.
    • Fixed a bug where claimed account items would sometimes disappear.
    • Practice Arenas will no longer award loot bags or prestige upon completion (or win) of the Arena's public events.
    • Practice Battlegrounds that are started from the “My Realm Only” queue will no longer award loot bags, experience, or prestige upon completion (or win) of the Practice Ground's public events.
    • PvP runes can now only be placed into PvP gear.
    • The Exile quest “Peculiar Flora” in Whitevale can now be turned in after the frozen and live samples are collected. This quest should no longer cause conflicts with “The Emissary”.
    • Fixed an issue with the quest “Primal Powers and Triton's Dread” in Whitevale where Primal Gillsting would not spawn correctly.
    • The Flank Tank from “Gates of Fire” in Grimvault will no longer hurt Bulgoth the Wallbreaker.
    • Neutral Darkspur in Gallow no longer reward XP when killed.
    • The quest “Darkspur Karaoke” will now complete upon successful completion of the bar brawl.
    • Fixed an issue that caused the riding skill upgrades to not be visible at the mount vendor unless the player was using action set 1.
    • Fixed an issue that caused the riding skill purchase to not take effect if the player had no AMP points available.
    • Monster Hunting quest for Raid Attunement is no longer available from Kezrek or Durek until players are on the correct step of the Genesis Key attunement process.
    • Fixed an issue where some players were unable to interact with the Primal Logic Transfer Control in Exo-Lab Prime, blocking progress.
    • Fixed a rare issue that would prevent players from interacting with the Personnel Index Panel in Exo-Lab Prime, blocking progress.
    • Fixed issue where some players were unable to use the Sterilization Device on the corrupted growth in Exo-Lab X39, blocking progress.
    • Vendors “Provisioner Omnichron” and “Trader Nexa” in Crimson Badlands have been forced to take a temporary leave of absence from their posts, and will return soon.
    • Vendors “Supplier Serra” and “Shopkeeper Thriftyroot” in Containment R-12 have been forced to take a temporary leave of absence from their posts, and will return soon.
    • Due to a bug in how reputation requirements were checked on reputation reward vendors, the gear rewards from Crimson Badlands and Containment R-12 have been downgraded to green-quality items. The sell prices on these items have been updated to the original buy price, allowing you to sell back these items for their initial cost (you won't lose any gold). New items at the original item power levels will be available on the vendors for the correct reputation requirements upon the vendors’ return.
    • Fixed a bug where guest accounts were moving through the queue too quickly, relative to non-guest accounts.

    • The Siege of Tempest Refuge
      • Updated the damage creatures in The Siege of Tempest Refuge deal to the generator. Also increased the generator health threshold required for a gold medal from 90% to 95%.
    • Genetic Archives
      • Boss balance adjusted.

    • Fixed an error in the calculation of rested experience. Rested experience will now properly be calculated based on the amount of time a character is logged out.
    • Reduced tier 2 and tier 3 of the Settler's Campfire health buff "Back in Action" from 20% and 30% to 4% and 5% as intended.
