Who's is all going this year? Could not go to PAX east, but I really want to go to Prime since I would like to visit Seattle. I know it's a little under 6 months away, but it will be here soon enough.

I may go if I can get the time off, I have family in the Seattle area so it would make things a bit easier.

I would absolutely love to go...if only I had enough money. I also have family (and a few friends actually) that live in the Seattle area.

Too far, lack of money, cold weather and lack of time will be the reason I do not go to this years PAX Prime.

Also, PAX East 2013 will be in Boston, MA for March 22-24.
PAX Prime will be in the Seattle, WA for Aug. 31- Sep. 2.

I wonder if either are different in anyway besides states.

I will be there. I'm planning on taking the wife if she can get off, and I'll hopefully bring friends too. We definitely will need to do a major party.

Cold weather? It'll be like in the 80's at least.

I guess you could say I was finding any reason I could not to go to PAX Prime. :p I suppose just saying Too far away would've sufficed. I mean, could they've picked a farther state from Florida...((Besides Alaska and Hawaii of course.)) PAX East would be the one I would go for, but it being in Boston is still far for my tastes. I usually don't like to travel far unless I have plenty of time to enjoy it. ((Week at least.))

They always have different stuff. Games use these conventions to make new announcements and create some hype for their game. Showing the same thing to people that you did 6 months ago is not in the best interests of any company IMO. I know they had a stream of PaxPrime on twitch tv last year. We watched a live DnD game (pretty entertaining).
