Robe beats Dress in..... Rock Paper Scissors Lizard Spock Robe Dress.
You find low level armor annoying?!
I find low level armor ignorable, and often don’t even bother to change it out.
are not hotpants and tank tops.
These are from their respective class pages, and I do not expect to have to wait until the Eldergame before I start seeing light armor like these.
call em what you will robes or dresses, the point is, just because you shoot magic and hold a walking stick doesn't mean you should be forced to wear one, by that logic then paladins, from WoW and any other magic able class, should have to wear a dress/robe
That was in the good old days when Blizzard knew how to dress their paladins
It's a roooooooooooooobe!
I used to duel in that at level 70 outside Org and still beat people. Fashion over function.
like i said call it what you want to me its a dress, if i wanted to see a man in drag i'f of gone to Funny Girls (google blackpool, Funny Girls) for info, its a men in drag show thing
I haven't seen a lot of that in the livestreams. From everything I've seen up to level 15 it's all been little pants and little tops. Stuff like that is amazing.
Anyone else now have a perverse desire to dress all their male characters in dre... robes?
Under my "robes" I wear "hose" and "shoes" - granted fishnet and five-inch heels but really magic is too fabulous!
This seems appropriate.
In silly fantasy games casters use a silly stick (also called a "Wand") or a longer stick (also called a "Staff") or sometimes put a shiny rock on the end of the stick (also called a scepter).
Enough of that nonsense! In Wildstar your caster gets a gun! Wait! Not just one gun, but two guns! Pew! Pew! Pew! Take that silly stick and you're silly shiny rock! Wait, what did you say little magician? You have a staff? Oh isn't that nice. Eat psyblade to the faces! Splat! Splat! You can go bonk someone with that silly stick. At least a psyblade as a cutting edge! Stabby! Stab!
I like you
Eh... I'll chime in with the OP here.
My only greivance with prior MMO's is the lack of options. There are days where I'll feel like wearing a dress/robe, depending on the class... and sheer whimsy, of course. Just as well however, I'm totally fine running around in Flannel PJs and a pillow if I ever have the choice.
Kudos to the WildStar Team and Carbine for allowing choices.
Just not too many - 'cuz then I start to feel like I'm missing out on something =/
Real men wear kilts.
I never really liked the whole dress thing when I first started playing MMO's, but then after awhile they grew on me. When WoW came out with transmog, I briefly flirted around with pants on my warlock and druid, but after so many years, it just felt wrong somehow. So I ended up with:
for my mains. Yeah. All robe-wearers, all badass.
Not that I hate pants though. I really love choice, so I hope aside from anything else that we have a great selection of different outfits and styles to choose from for our characters. Choice is always better.
I voted yes because I'm a horrible person.
