    Name: Titan

Type: International, PvP, PvE and Crafting

    Faction: Dominion

We are a Community-Focused group of players with a big emphasis on recruiting others who fit in with our existing members and build bonds for the future beyond any one game. We have casuals and older members with busy lives who will make up our standard member rank of Titan, but we also have a hardcore/competitive core that has more time to commit to PvP practice schedules and completing server firsts for Raiding, those members will make up our Olympian rank. We are not pigeon-holing ourselves to any one aspect of the game or to any one type of player, we seek to provide a friendly environment for everyone to fit in.

    Titan Guild Charter
    [IMG]

Titan's core dates back to 1995. Over that lifespan, the guild transitioned to more modern models, adopting a new name and face with each modernization process to reflect that change. Titan has undergone that transformation three times. Our success comes from experienced, proven leadership and from the core values and laws established. We are constantly striving for perfection, and consider ourselves as a premiere guild that seeks unity and values excellence, teamwork, family, and friendships. As with all successful guilds, member participation is critical. Here are some of our core guild goals, rules, and policies that potential members should know before attempting to join.

    General Mission Statement
    [IMG]

Titan is an online, multi-gaming community. We do not exist for a specific game. Our community consists of mature adults, and veteran gamers. Our purpose is to ensure that Titan is community focused and continually strives to be among the strongest, most well known, and successful online gaming communities around. We are dedicated to a friendly, team focused, enjoyable environment where every member is just as important as the next and never considered just a number on a roster. Titan strives to foster long-term friendships among its members and use it to enhance the online gaming community experience.

    Beta Tester Mission Statement
    [IMG]

Titan has an experienced, skilled and active beta testing community. Specifically we have professionals trained in quality assurance, systems testing and stress testing. These individuals are part of our active beta testing team. We have in the past, obtained personal invitations and a designated number of accounts to alpha and beta test new games. Titan takes such responsibility very seriously. We strive to improve all online gaming communities that we are a part of through our continuous testing methods. We not only discover bugs or balance issues but will suggest new features and how to improve existing implementations. Titan has one goal. We want to help create the best online game possible for online communities to enjoy. Titan will be quick to point out potential pitfalls and issues of past games and to help those in the industry to improve upon innovations and implementations of features and functionality.

    Wildstar Mission Statement
    [IMG]

The Titan Wildstar Branch strives to build a close knit group that is composed of members from all walks of life, young and old, male and female, spanning international boundaries, with each member representing the guild with honor, respect, maturity, and truth. Titan places the highest value in teamwork, communication, and top notch play, while seeking every opportunity to improve and have fun.

    Recruitment Process
    [IMG]

Titan is currently accepting applications for new members but only for the select games listed below. We are building for the long term, so our applications process reflects that. For example, we have a specific timeline for acceptance, which will take place after four weeks from application submission, but you may be denied at anytime within that period. If within four weeks, you have not demonstrated sufficient and desirable traits and capabilities then you will be denied. We do not extend applications and do not allow them to run longer than four weeks unless specific real life events occurred. Even then, it will be on a case-by-case basis. Should an event inhibit your ability to display your worth, you may request that your application be placed on hold.

Titan will only take in people when we are sure we want to add someone, and when we are sure that the person is a good fit for our community, and us for them. Titan understands this kind of recruitment is not for everyone, but it is what works for us.

Please keep in mind that Inactivity in any area expected of you for more than a week after your application has been posted will result in your application being automatically denied. Please be sure to participate in our forums, VoIP server, and a game that members in the community are playing.

Please review our Guild Charter, Code of Conduct, and Requirements section before submitting an application. Please keep in mind that your application is your first impression with us.

Titan is a guild that consists of a hand-picked group of players who have been gaming competitively since 1995. Our officer corps has over 25 years of combined history running guilds, and our members have experience in multiple server firsts and a variety of top-tier rankings in multiple games. Many apply, and few are accepted. Although we have membership requirements, we have traditionally had an extremely low turnover rate because of our community culture. Titan has a firm belief in organization and structure.

Titan consists of a three-person panel that is a council-hybrid style guild with Seiji assuming the role of Guildmaster and the remaining council panel assisting in leadership advice and decisions. Council depends on other leadership and support staff within the guild to assist in community decisions by providing feedback and ideas. The commanding officers and support staff assist in managing the guild on a day-to-day basis under the vision and guidance of the council and are critical to the success of the guild.

To request contact with any specific role or leader please send your request to Artlu and he will redirect you to the correct leadership or support person to handle your issue.

    Guild Structure Descriptions
    [IMG]

The Guild Council consist of a three person panel that guides the guild as a whole, and assist in resolving conflicts and making decisions on any controversial matters that may arise. This is a position of appointment only. An outgoing Council Member will only be replaced by designation of the existing council members. The council seats consist of two roles, which are Guildmaster and Advisor.

    Guildmaster [Council]

Titan's format for guild leadership is that of a council-hybrid structure. The guildmaster of Titan serves as the visionary and guide of Titan. Guild direction, quality and execution are the primary responsibilities of the guild master. The guildmaster shares leadership authority with two other council members that are guild advisors and serve as a check and balance of power and guild operation. The goal of the guildmaster is to drive topics and decisions with existing council that make Titan a better guild and community for all members. Feedback from members is encouraged regularly and could assist in the guild decision-making process. All members should know Council, leadership and support personnel in Titan have an open door policy and that anything presented in a respectful manner is thoroughly evaluated before final decisions are made.

    Advisors [Council]

Two guild advisors exist in Titan, and they are part of the council leadership team. The advisors are equal in authority as the guildmaster position for the council board. The key roles for advisors are that they help build global guild policy, assist with decisions and leadership within the games they are actively playing. A council exists because sometimes a new policy has to be made. In some situations, it alleviates potential issues should a balance check of power and authority occur, not that it ever has. Advisor, being council authority and leadership can and will make decisions, even if the council team modifies it later, it will be Titan policy going forward. The need for new policies is rare, but should it be required, they are will help implement it.

    Global Support Roles [Staff]

Global support roles are Titan staff that exists to assist Council with specific tasks that improve communication and community relations both internally and externally. Global support staff can also become interim council members, should a council member need to take a hiatus due to real life or personal issues. As an interim council member, they will assist senior council in voting or drafting up policies, and implementing changes. While all share a common primary responsibility, the secondary tasks are defined below.

    Administrative Support
    [IMG]

This individual is responsible for being a jack-of-all-trades, and assisting the other support roles on an as-needed basis. This individual also consistently providing feedback to council to aid in intelligence gathering and state of the guild activities so that they are fully aware of community activities.

    Human Resources Support
    [IMG]

This individual is responsible for fielding complaints from internal members or external individuals that have had issues within the guild or with the guild. This individual will conduct an investigation to determine if any violations have occurred, and report the findings to council. Their primary responsibility is to ensure guild and community cohesion. They will also be the frontline in responding to any community inquiries that outsiders request or present.

    Organizational Strategy Support
    [IMG]

This individual is responsible for research of communities and implementing guild strategy, guides and delegating specific tasks to other support roles or volunteers. This individual will review economic, player-vs.-player, and player-vs.-monster, among other strategic tasks and presents optimal paths or official procedures for the environment we are targeting. In the past, Titan has leveraged heavy economic warfare that correlated to success in starving out enemies in order to take over territories, and in other environments to assist in procuring goods need for raids that were heavily consumable base.

This individual is responsible for assisting in guild quality control, in the forms of monitoring applicants, members, and the state of the guild as a whole. If issues are arising, this individual will investigate, analyze, and present an official report to council for review and discussion.

Information presented can be topics that council considers for implementing and can assist as providing ideas that become part of a new guild policy. Commanding officers also enforce guild policies and code of conduct. Commanding officers cannot set new policy or chose to ignore or not follow some rules, but do have full authority to enforce and act upon all rules and policy.

    Branch Executive Officer [XO]

Branch executive officers exist to assist branch leaders with specific functions and task within a game. These roles have been defined as a player-vs.-player officer, and player-vs.-environment officer. In short, they are your PVP and Raid officer.

Advanced member rank, is known as an Olympian in Titan. They are competitors that push the limits and are high achievers. They have been responsible for server firsts, and among the best players on their respective server or battle group in both Player-vs.-Player and Player-vs.-Environment settings. Olympians are held to a higher standard and have more strict requirements then standard members. To gain entry into the ranks is an internal application process that is then reviewed and processed internally by the present commanding officer and their respective executive officer with additional feedback from peers within the Olympian rank.

    Standard Member [Titan]

Titan is the standard member rank with the community. They are the life force and blood of the community. Without them, Titan would not be where it is today.

    Code of Conduct
    [IMG]

Titan will only accept applicants into its ranks to become members if they are of similar personalities, goals and values of its core membership. Every member will support and follow Titan's code of conduct. Violation of the code of conduct will result in removal from the guild. Titan's code of conduct includes, but is not limited to the following:

    Guild Before Self
    [IMG]

Titan expects all members to ensure that all actions they take reflect the mindset of guild first. As a member of Titan, we expect you to show respect to your fellow members and leaders and conduct yourself properly while wearing our guild tag. Every single action a member does reflects on the guild overall, its image and on all members. We expect members to carry themselves in a manner worthy of respect so that their actions only reflect positively on the guild. Titan works hard to build and maintain its image and it starts by holding everyone involved in the community accountable for their actions.

    We Recruit Individuals, Not Pixels
    [IMG]

Titan looks for good individuals, not only a pixel that meets a specific set of requirements. Titan does not allow dual guild membership. If you are playing a different game, than ones that the community has official branches opened in, then you are free to join another guild and retain your Titan membership. Where membership in another guild is accepted, we do place some restrictions such as that the guild you participate with does not cheat or use exploits.

    Confidentiality, Integrity, Assurance
    [IMG]

Titan does not permit to relaying any information outside the guild, for any reason, at any time. Titan values confidentiality, integrity, and assurance, as we are a private gaming community. It is never acceptable to share Information with the public except through official and sanctioned processes. Therefore, members should not reveal any information, no matter how minor they may think it is, without obtaining permission first.

    Activity
    [IMG]

Titan expects participation in guild events. In game activities occur all the time. Titan expects members to take part in as many of them as possible. Titan does understand that people have lives and cannot live within the online world and that is acceptable. However, if you are online, and we are having a guild event of some sort, you need to be there and participating in it. Actively working against the guild on any mission or creating dramatic disruptions will result in immediate and permanent removal.

    Leadership and Support
    [IMG]

Deciding leadership and support roles in Titan occur based on two factors. The first is demonstrated ability and the second is the need for a leader or support staff in a particular spot. Titan strives hard to ensure that your leaders are working hard to make the community more fun for you. However, the reason behind every decision is not always apparent in the present when an order is given, but all orders from commanding officers need to execute immediately. If errors occur, you should send a report to the council where they will review the report, and if needed, make changes to the commanding officer team. If such a case is not in order, then all commanding officers should be listened to as though it was a council member issuing the order.

    Teamwork and Friendship
    [IMG]

Titan has a community forged from teamwork and friendship. Titan always expects members to provide backup to their guildmates because they will do the same for you. Titan members understand that sometimes personal character sacrifice can be a requirement for the team to complete a strategy or scenario in order to be successful and triumphant. We do not view it as personal sacrifice, however, because we are helping a friend or friends and that is more valuable than pixels. Games will always come and go, but friendships forged in Titan will always remain. Make friends in the guild. Titan's central nervous system is a team of friends and family. So make friends because those friendships make us strong and provide us a reason to fight.

    Inactivity
    [IMG]

Inactivity is not needed in any guild. Failure to maintain acceptable levels of activity will result in your membership being removed. Titan, however, does have an inactive status for members who are retired from the games we play, but wish to join us in future games. For those active in games, Titan expects members to read our own forums daily for any updates. It is unacceptable to disappear off the face of the earth without any post or notification that indicates you wish to go to an inactive status. Going inactive without notification will be taken as a sign you have quit the guild and membership is removed. Upon return, you may re-apply to the guild based on the standards and status of recruiting at that time.

    Exploiting Game Mechanics
    [IMG]

We do not condone exploiting of any kind in any game, or for any reason. There will be zero tolerance for the use of hacks, exploits, glitches or cheats. The word of the developers is law. If you are caught cheating, there will be no judge or jury, you will be removed.

    Maturity
    [IMG]

Members that do not behave in a mature, professional, and team focused manner or those who are self-focused, loot focused and immature will not be tolerated. If you have issues with guild policies, then bring them directly to the council. Failure to act maturely, or publicly bashing and complaining will not be permitted. Attacking a member personally is not permitted. Titan expects members to handle issues with each other 1 on 1, and in a mature professional way. If that is not possible, or common ground is not found, then we expect members to seek an officers help if needed. Under no circumstances will personal attacks on other members be allowed.

    Respect
    [IMG]

Have respect for fellow members. If they ask you to cutout or cutdown on profanity usage, or certain conversation content, then do it. Backstabbing, scamming, stealing or other malicious acts are not permitted.

    Compliance
    [IMG]

Members who cannot follow or uphold the code of conduct for Titan will be removed from the guild. If you are feeling a sense of entitlement because you have been around longer, do not think that these rules and the code of conduct will not be applied to you.

    Guild Requirements
    [IMG]

In addition to adhering to our code of conduct, our guild requirements are as follows:

    Age
    [IMG]

Titan will only accept applications for membership from adults over the age of 18. Regardless of age, Titan expects a certain level of maturity and professionalism in all members. Children, trolls, drama queens, self-centered people, and immature people do not have a place in this guild.

    Expectations
    [IMG]

Titan expects all members to exemplify the values of our guild (see code of conduct). We are team oriented and community focused. We do not backstab each other. We are not anti-social players or loners. We always work in the best interest of the team and strive to maintain an enjoyable atmosphere. Titan expects new members to achieve some level of competence in games we play and in the aspects of the game that they participate in (PVE, PVP, Both). That standard level of competency is variable and changes from game to game. As far as personality and play style, Titan looks for people that match our community culture. If your style and personality does not complement ours, then membership here will not be in our or your best interest.

    Joining, Quitting and Rejoining
    [IMG]

Titan's policy on rejoins is very strict. If you join and quit, we most likely will not extend a second chance to rejoin. If a member quits online gaming because of real life issues such as work, medical, family or school, but wants to rejoin, then we will allow them to rejoin as long as they were in good standing when they left.

    Guild Promotion
    [IMG]

Titan consists of experienced, skilled and veteran leadership that has been proven countless times over our 18 years of existence as three previous entities. With over 25 years of combined leadership, Titan understands guild psychology fairly well. Titan will never recruit someone into a council or staff support role. Titan believes in and will always promote from within the guild based on a number of factors. Criteria that are reviewed include time in guild, demonstrated leadership ability and related qualities that reflect those that our own Council, Support Staff, and Branch Commanders display. An individual that joins and just has to have a leadership role in order to be happy is looking at the wrong place because it means that this is not the guild for you, and your personality will not be a match with ours. Titan's core is made of winners who excel in everything they do. Titan is not after glory queens and those that must have promotions and leadership in order to be happy and inflate their egos.

Advanced Member Requirements (See Guild Structure, Description: Advanced Member [Olympian])

Advanced member [Olympian] requirements are in addition to all code of conducts and requirements listed above. This is because this group of players are like the special operations group within Titan, made up of hardcore, and committed members who not only have the skill, but the time an energy to achieve large feats within a short time. These individuals also are able to sustain those feats once they have been conquered. Achieving this rank is handled internally, and not for consideration until the individual has become a member and proven their capability to their peers. Advanced member [Olympian] requirements are as follows:
