Will Open Beta be absolutly available for anyone interested in ?
Yes, unless you're a ginger. Carbine has separate servers for them that will be released a few months later.
Only the Shadow knows.
Unfortunately you are correct. Ah well, at least I will get to buy the game.
all we can do is wait and remain silent, or hope the batman helps us
OB in Sept, release in Oct, 1 month exping, early Dec start riding.
Certainly not at this rate. We know there will be a CBT4 and CBT5 and CBTs have been on 5-6 cycles so far. CBT 5 won't even start until september and that's when I expect there to be another round of invites aswell. I doubt CBT5 will even include Warplots or Raiding, maybe CBT6 if they have planned that far ahead. Certainly don't see a release this year anymore.
CBT 5 is prob in august CBT6 late september/early oktober, release is either at the end of this year but prob early next year
So they are going to skip CBT4 are they? ^^
CBT4 is after this weekends stresstest.
yesss, and what month are we going to be in in 3 days? How many weeks do CBTs last?
1 + 1 = no CBT5 in August.
So do you think they will release ealry next year?
I dont' think so. Missing Christmas is pretty dumb for a commercial entertainment enterprise ; )
So wrong, this was an argument people were using about WoW expansions should be released during the December holiday. Why does the holiday season make any difference? People get gifts sure, but it's an expansion to a video game. You'll buy it anyway as you need it to access the new content. People kept saying MoP was going to be released in December. I said late August/early September and people kept saying no because it was summer? Again, doesn't make a difference and I was almost spot on as it was released mid September.
An MMO game is not the same as your console Call of Duty gift you might give or receive for your holiday. Even then, CoD games notoriously drop in late September/early November. The holiday season does not increase sales of video games by as much as people think.
The only issue I have about the game releasing early next year is that the WoW expansion will be dropping around the same time period.
Hopefully not when it's ready, but when it's great.
I remember Carbine saying there will be no Open Beta specifically but simply removing the NDA and you would still need an invite to play.
so add 30% blizzard devs;
PLUS end of 2013, but really when it is ready;
Subtract wow, add diablo 3 or SC2 (2-3 delays from target)
Add NC soft,
we will not see this game release this year, although NCsoft may push;
subtract 1-2 delays,
we will see this game Q1 2014, or
Late January, early February 2014
int daysUntilOpenBeta = (rand() % 1) + 1;
They will have to work fast with PR in that case, since they will most likely announce the expansion at Blizzcon in November.
I'm worried about The Elder Scrolls Online though. It will launch spring 2014. If Wildstar won't happen this year they should just delay it until summer 2014.
